Dr. M. William Howard (Bethany Baptist Church) , and in celebration of the 10th Anniversary of The Positive Community magazine, Newark Leadership Roundtable Series (NLRS), consists of three roundtable discussions on Education, Business, and Health and Safety, a November Town Hall Meeting and Small Business Expo and The 1st Annual Positive Community Awards during MLK Weekend in January 2012. NLRS is an invitation only event, but the discussions will broadcast live via the website.

brick city cuts the ribbon

Some of our neighbors include PSE&G, WBGO, the Robert Treat Hotel, Prudential Center and New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC), to name a few. The event was a casual affair attended by Websignians Dalmar James, Adam Wolff, Danielle Davis, Chris Anderson, Juhong Lee and Marcia Ashby, as well as interns Cerise Joseph and Rachel Min. Presiding over the event was Newark Deputy Mayor, Stephan Pryor, joined by Brick City Development Corporation’s CEO, Lyneir Richardson, and Municipal Council President, Donald Payne. Also in attendance were friends, family, and the who’s who of Newark’s small business owners and community leaders. (more…)
