so jazzy, so brooklyn, SOCO!

So Jazzy, So Brooklyn, SOCO! is the creation of famed Negril restaurateurs Peter Best, Malissa Browne, and Sim Walker. soco’s menu is a refreshing southern fusion of cajun, creole and soul food. with the launch of the new restaurant located in the clinton hills section of brooklyn, soco needed a web presence that reflects its unique vision, taste, and style. the site also needed to be easy to navigate, book reservations, check out the menu, and share almost anything on the site via social media.  (more…)

luterra systems, formally e-guardian systems, is a privately held green technology company that provides energy reduction solutions for commercial and industrial lighting systems. They chose to change the name of the company to something that more firmly positioned them in the rapidly developing “green” technology market. they were set to relaunch their patented Intelligent lighting energy controller (ilec) and websignia was tasked with producing a new identity around the company’s name and direction. luterra systems rebranding

overview

luterra systems develops technology  products that reduces the energy consumption of large lighting systems. the font selected for  logo design is clean and clear with a modern, almost futuristic feel to it. the name, luterra, roughly translates to “light the earth,” hence the star burst peeking over a horizon. the icon is contained in a crescent moon for emphasis.

a medical marketing company needed a solution that would impact their client’s ability to analyze and optimize outbound consumer email campaigns. the challenge was that they needed to target these campaigns more accurately in order to produce a favorable roi. there were many ways that people interfaced with their email: mobile browsers, free web-based email (gmail, yahoo), desktop programs (like mac mail, or outlook) and their web-based versions. each email client measured differently to other analytics tools, so there were plenty of opportunities to misread exactly how many “clicks” and “opens” there really were. also once a user opened the email and clicked on the offer, it was difficult to determine what action(s) they took next. the system would have to be able to track the entire lifecycle from delivery of the email to redemption of the coupon code, and accurately report the real-time activity in a dashboard. African Film Festival

Challenge

The African Film Festival, Inc. (AFF) is a non-profit arts organization headquartered in New York. Now celebrating it’s 20th anniversary,  the organization began in 1990 as an ad hoc committee of African and American artists and scholars committed to using media to change the public perception of the African continent. Over the years AFF has gathered hundreds of films and managing this content with an online resource was a challenge for AFF. (more…)
