Steve Jones, CEO of Websignia, received an award for Outstanding Service in Business and Community at the second annual Newark’s Project Re-Direct Youth and Family Services non-profit 2nd Annual Children Are a Gift Benefit and Excellence in Business and Community Service Awards.
According to Sharon Berry,the Founder of Project Re-Direct, “awardees are submitted to the committee, or the committee selects people that fit the criteria of being a small business owner, contributing to the local business community, as well as, giving back to the communities from which they receive. Only with the unanimous vote of the committee and acceptance by the prospective honoree, is the award given.”
While Steve had the office in North Plainfield, NJ for seven years but has contributed throughout the state, specifically to the community of Essex County. The recent decision to expand Websignia and move to Newark along with his continued effort to provide high quality, yet affordable services to entrepreneurs and small businesses made Steve a shoo-in for this award.
