smaller. stronger. faster: design cape-abilities

this lone websignian wandered the interwebs, searching for visual peace in a world that was cluttered with web sites that made his eyes hurt. some had logos with clashing colors, others had cramped layouts and poor navigation that robbed web surfers of their precious time. in this time before broadband, large graphic files sapped precious bandwidth from modems while consumers waited (buffering… buffering… still buffering…). the internet wasn’t a safe place for a brand to venture out alone.

the websignian talked to any business that would listen. he convinced them that there was a way they could use intelligent designs to keep their brands as safe online as they were offline. one faithful day while defending one brand in particular, he noticed a shadowy figure leaning against a parked url, also designing. designing with such intensity that the logos, web layouts, and print work came to life leaping off the page, causing people to take notice.

they both sensed that their cape-abilities, if combined, could change the world… they joined forces, and set out to find others like them.
