Steve Jones Wins BOC Award

Steve Jones was chosen to receive a Business Outreach Center Network (BOC) award. “BOC Network is a micro-enterprise/small business development organization with over a decade-long record of delivering customized business services to under-served entrepreneurs in New York City and, more recently, in Newark, New Jersey.” The BOC awards will celebrate 15 years helping entrepreneurs gain access to over $39 million in capital.
Steve was nominated for the award by Greater Newark Enterprises Corporation (GNEC). The BOC awards committee identifed Steve, head websignian, as a rising star in New Jersey and New York business communities. The committee was impressed with Steve’s focus and the success of his company, websignia. More importantly, they noted
his commitment to maintaining artistic integrity in the face of growth of his business.
Steve will receive the business advancement and community impact award for his dedication to innovation in business and youth education and community development.
The award will be presented during BOC Awards, “Celebrating Entrepreneurship” 15th Anniversary Gala being held May 6, 2011 at Battery Gardens Restaurant in lower Manhattan.
Eleven others were chosen to receive BOC awards for 2011, we are more than happy that Steve was among them.
