smaller.stronger.faster: websignia year in review
by marketing team in news at 2:35 pm
2011 was a year filled with lots of action and new beginnings. some of our clients were brand new, and some were new brands.
when soco brought southern cuisine to brooklyn they asked us to bring the cuisine to the web. we learned a lot of history about products that were made in newark, and that newark alliance existed solely to support the renaissance of the city and those seeking to make more in newark. room for desserts was a treat (that actually brought tasty treats to the office). just as sweet for us was designing hoopfest: the sweet 16 spelled sweet success for the city of newark (and the university of kentucky.)
we got serious and broadcasted positive community’s newark leadership roundtable series which covered some of the city’s pressing issues. we provided brian benjamin with a platform to anchor his campaign. we helped luterra light the earth, and reduce your carbon footprint. Researchers needed their own social knowledge network, so we built them one, but it’s a private club…you’ve got to be a molecular diagnostic researcher to get in. brain on shamrocks was one of the funniest collection of stories that we’d read in a long time so put a pint of shamrocks into the website…see if you find them. we got giddy about animating gitty daneshvari, it was a chance to sketch and flex the real power of the pencil. njsocent called on us to use social media channels to support them in raising the profile of social entrepreneurship in the state of new jersey.
it was a great year. in the midst of all that activity, one of the coolest things that happened right here in the office was the arrival of the new addition to our family…the websignian. you’ll see much more of him in the digisphere, it’s hard not to like the little guy. we’re expecting no less from the year ahead, more of the new and reconnecting with the old. when do we get to see you?
launch your project with us for 2012!
