challenge
luterra systems, formally e-guardian systems, is a privately held green technology company that provides energy reduction solutions for commercial and industrial lighting systems. They chose to change the name of the company to something that more firmly positioned them in the rapidly developing “green” technology market. they were set to relaunch their patented Intelligent lighting energy controller (ilec) and websignia was tasked with producing a new identity around the company’s name and direction.
overview
a new name meant a new logo and a new look. we had to convey that luterra is a rising star in an exploding market. Their primary audience is focused on CFO’s and building managers of commercial real estate owners, outdoor arenas, and large parking structures, and clearly demonstrating the financial benefits of reducing consumption in these fiscally sensitive times. our goal was to make the company look as large and well established, as the companies they’ll be doing business with. We created custom graphics to add a visual dimension to the magical “black box.”
to demonstrate the roi of their product in realtime, we designed and developed a savings calculator application that shows prospective customers the savings they can receive. how it works: users input information about their facility and current energy usage and immediately get back a report detailing the kinds of savings they can expect once they install the solution. luterra will now be able to compete in the global marketplace and continue to present the ilec as the solution of choice in the green technology marketplace.
